How to choose your Oura Ring size
Oura Ring 5 is worn around the clock, so the size has to be right: a tight ring is uncomfortable, a loose one spins and the sensors read worse. That is what the sizing kit is for.
Why your usual ring size does not work
Oura uses whole sizes only (no half sizes) and its scale differs slightly from standard ring sizes. Oura itself advises against sizing by other rings: they may use different measurements.
The ring's sensors should sit snug but comfortable on the finger. That is why the size is chosen with a sizing kit, not by eye.
How it works with us
- A courier brings the Oura Ring 5 sizing kit to your address. The deposit is 30 AZN.
- If you order a ring, the 30 AZN is deducted from the total. If you do not, the deposit is not refunded.
- Once you pick a size we order the ring: 50% prepayment, the product usually arrives within 7–14 business days.
- Sizes we sell: 6–13, in all colors.
How to measure with the kit (Oura's advice)
- Try several sizes and several fingers: keep switching until you find the most comfortable combination. Ideally the size fits more than one finger.
- Wear the sizer for 24 hours: your finger changes during the day, at night and after a workout.
- Measure with warm hands: fingers are thinner when cold, and the ring may turn out tight later.
- If the ring passes the knuckle with some effort but sits comfortably on the finger, that is normal. If it spins freely, go one size down.
Which finger to wear it on
Oura says the ring is built for any finger: you choose the balance of comfort and style. Many people wear it on the index or middle finger. Consider which hand you use for lifting or gloves.
Important: pick the size for the finger you actually plan to wear it on. If you switch fingers later, the size may differ.
Common mistakes
- Ordering by the size from a jewelry store.
- Wearing the sizer for 5 minutes and deciding.
- Measuring with cold hands or early in the morning.
- Thinking “a bit loose, I'll get used to it”: a ring size does not change.
