WHOOP or Oura Ring: which to choose?

Both are screenless, both track sleep, recovery and stress. The difference is the form, the membership and what each one focuses on.

Published: 11 Oct 2026 · Trackzone Baku

The main difference: band vs ring

WHOOP is a band worn on the wrist (or on the bicep with the CoreKnit band). Oura Ring 5 is a titanium ring. Both are made for 24/7 wear and neither has a screen: all data lives in the phone app.

The ring is more discreet and leaves room for a watch. The band is more comfortable during workouts and needs no sizing: the strap adjusts.
